TikTok star crane operator Xiao Qiumei dies live after fall from 43 meters

Xiao Qiumei, a young Chinese influencer who is very popular on TikTok and a crane operator by profession, died on July 20 in Quzhou while she was filming herself from her crane. She was 23 years old.

This crane operator regularly shared videos on TikTok. It was attended by more than 100,000 people.

In her latest video, the young woman was filming in what appears to be a crane cabin when the camera rotated and dropped 43 meters. A scream was also audible in these images.

According to witnesses to this drama, this influencer had her phone in her hand when she fell.

His death has been confirmed by his family. However, she denies that Xiao Qiumei would have filmed herself from her workplace, explaining that she was “very professional and that she always kept her phone in her bag when she worked”. According to her relatives, the young influencer would have simply died “following a fall by missing a walk” at the end of her working day.

On July 10, another 32-year-old Chinese influencer, Sofia Cheung, died falling off a cliff while taking a selfie for Instagram next to a waterfall.
