Geoff Keighley is already sulking. While the latter will open the season of announcements with the opening of its Summer Game Fest, the ESA has decided that E3 is not going to be put down. We learn from the Hollywood Reporter that this edition of theE3 2021 will be entitled to a E3 Awards Show, a somewhat special event which will reward the best games that have appeared during the virtual fair, while reserving us surprises.

that the event is actually all of E3, June 12-15, and not just the E3 Awards Show. Announcements are expected on the 4 days of lives, and not just during the awards show. So there was a misunderstanding. You can find the rest of the original article below.

A very special Game Awards
During each edition, prizes from various media are generally awarded to the games that caused the most sensation at the show. This year, E3 has chosen to present it as a kind of Video Game Awards, with announcements to the key.
The show will therefore take place on June 15, last day of the virtual fair, and media such as IGN, PC Gamer or Gamespot will give their rewards. But this time, editors will take advantage of the show to present new products:
« The event is going to be filled with exciting announcements and disclosures, and will celebrate the most innovative publishers and developers, which will be a great way to close E3 2021. »
The show will be hosted by esports commentator Alex “Goldenboy” Mendez, streamer Jacki Jing and Kinda Funny Games co-founder Greg Miller. Perhaps this will be the time to learn more about editors who are not planning a conference or shows during this month of June.
