Bandai Namco’s Tales of video game series is gradually being revealed. After unveiling the first images of the video game a few weeks ago, the publisher is more generous. This time, he tells us about a trailer, but also a post that says a lot about the new opus called Tales of Arise.
In the video visible at the end of the article, discover the four main characters and their respective Mystic Artes. As a bonus, we are talking about a new playable character with very great powers.
50 seconds to discover the other characters
It is therefore in video that Bandai Namco has chosen to unveil the Mystic Arte of four characters to the public: Law, Rinwell, Alphen and Shionne. The video is split into four parts, one for each character. Find out for yourself by watching the trailer below.
That’s not all, Bandai Namco has also spoken on the subject on its site. This time, he gives crisp details on a new protagonist. His English name is Zephyr. It turns out to be powerful since it manages a whole army of resistance against the Balseph.
The editor made a point of clarifying it, Zephyr will be a playable character. Gamers will be able to embody it as a “supporting role.” Fans of the role-playing game will therefore be delighted to welcome one more skin in this long-awaited new opus.
60 fps and 4K on PS5 and Xbox Series
Tales of Arise will be released on PC and old gen consoles (PS4 et Xbox One). But Namco Bandai also gives pride of place to those who have been able to buy the PS5 and the Xbox Series X and S. The advantages of those who will play on these new gen video game consoles have already been unveiled.
So you could take advantage of a 4K resolution mode if you play the video game on PlayStation 5 or an Xbox Series X console. 60 fps mode is also included in the optimization for new consoles.
This same framerate is offered on The Last of Us Part II on PS5. A patch available this June will also run Watch Dogs: Legion at 60 fps on these same video game consoles. Tales of Arise will therefore be a new gen action game worthy of his generation.
A launch planned for September
As for the release date, Tales of Arise is not one of those video games postponed due to the pandemic like Lost Judgment, Horizon Forbidden West. The initial launch date was therefore chosen.
You could play Tales of Arise from the September 10. It comes almost five years after the release of the third opus Tales of Berseria. The long wait is finally coming to an end, or almost.
