Asus will update its AM4 motherboard range with the arrival of new X570 references. Aiming at the top of the range, these references will soon be available.
It’s a small marketing operation. Asus announces to its community the arrival of new AMD motherboards. They are based on the AM4 socket and the X570 chipset. This is not a new chipset but a more economical X570 version to ensure its cooling passively. The current X570 references use a small fan which causes noise and possible long-term failure.

The teaser released by Asus reveals four different models. We find references in the ProArt, TUF GAMING, ROG STRIX and ROG Crosshair offers. In any case, these novelties are positioned on the high end by targeting creators, gamers and overclockers.
We do not yet have any pricing information. We do not yet know if this new range will replace the current X570 references.
MAJ on 31 May 2021. Asus brings some information about these new AMD motherboards. They use the same X570 chipset as the current models but benefit from the latest AGESA firmware. The latter lowers the thermal envelope of the chipset which allows a glimpse of Fanless cooling. Suddenly these new motherboards are equipped with a heat sink without fan.
