2. Child’s play monument

The castle is participating this weekend of October 23 and 24, from 2 to 5 p.m., in the 23rd edition of Operation Monument jeu d’enfant. He invites children and parents to draw the monument and its landscape, its animals and its flora from an elevated point and to give free rein to their creativity. Students from conservatories and students from art schools in the region will be present to accompany them.

3. Horse riding

From October 24 to November 5, the Dunois Equestrian Center offers courses in the form of half-days per level (beginners, gallops 1 to 7). 5. Lectures

The tourist office will allow children over 7 years old to discover the historic center of Châteaudun on Thursday, November 4, at 3 p.m., and to immerse themselves in the history of the city with a fun booklet.

7. Cinema workshop

The animated medium-length film The good life by Clémence Madeleine-Perdrillat and Nathaniel H’Limi, who deals with mourning with finesse and humor, will be screened on Thursday, November 4, at 2 p.m., at the cinema Le Dunois. The screening will be followed by a light painting animation (a photographic technique allowing “drawing with light”) and a snack.

8. Treasure hunt

Children can discover the Foulon caves in a fun way every day, except Wednesday, at 2 p.m., 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. Using a map, they will have to spot dinosaurs that have a different colored ribbon. These colors will allow them to find the secret code which gives access to the Barbogrotte treasure.

Price: € 4. Admission is free for children under 6 and € 5 for 6-10 years old.
