The brand created by the former co-founder of OnePlus announces a partnership with Qualcomm and a fundraising of 50 million dollars.
A year ago no one knew yet Nothing, the young brand born from the ashes of the former OnePlus team. Since then, the company founded by Carl Pei and Akis Evangelidis has come a long way. Nothing’s first product: the Ear (1), headphones true wireless particularly successful and offered at an unbeatable price.
After these headphones, Nothing intends to make its name resonate in the tech sphere. For that, “The London-based Nothing brand announces its choice of the Snapdragon mobile platform to drive future technology products and cooperate with Qualcomm to do so. “
Should we expect the launch of a smartphone powered by a Snapdragon SoC? Nothing is less sure. The brand is indeed very evasive about its future projects, and simply evokes an ecosystem of products to come. Nothing’s acquisition of Essential Phones at the start of the year, however, gives us the ear, especially coming from a company founded by former heads of OnePlus, a brand previously specialized 100% on the… smartphone sector.
While waiting for news of these next products signed Nothing, the brand announces a new fundraising of 50 million dollars in order to carry out its projects. We stay tuned and we will tell you more as soon as we have something new!
