Psyonix announces via press release that Batman will be in Rocket League returns and spearheads the annual Haunted Hallows event on all platforms starting tomorrow, October 14th, 2021! Haunted Hallows will be live until November 1st, 2021. During the event, all players can receive the free player title “Dark Knight” as a log-in reward starting tomorrow. The Haunted Hallows event, licensed by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment on behalf of DC, features new event challenges featuring Batman supervillain items, a Batman Rumble Limited Time (LTM) mode, the return of three iconic Batmobile vehicles, and one new arena variant.
The Batman-themed content that will be featured in Haunted Hallows is:
- New event challenges – Players can complete Haunted Hallows Event Challenges to unlock Batman Super Villain items such as the Joker Dominus Decal and Boost, Gotham’s Finest Merc Decal, Harley Quinn Wheels and Topper, Poison Ivy Boost and more.
- Gotham City Rumble LTM – Rumble mode has been redesigned and the power-ups are now based on Batman and his enemies. Players can use Joker’s boxing glove, Harley’s hammer instead of the boot, Poison Ivy’s tendrils instead of the grappling hook and much more.
- Batmobile & Bat-Signale – The Batmobile (1989), the Dark Knight’s Tumbler and the Batmobile (2016) will be available in the Item Shop during the Haunted Hallows. There will also be three Bat Signal Gate Blasts showing the Bat symbol from three different eras. All Batmobile and Gate Blasts will be available in the Batman Halloween Pack for 2000 credits, along with the individual Batmobile packs and the ability to purchase the Reel Life Decals and Gate Blasts separately. - Beckwith Park (Gotham Night) Arena-Variante – This new limited-time arena has been redesigned by the Gotham City super villains.
