The 13.4-inch screen here is neither convertible nor touch-sensitive, so we had to check its characteristics in the lab. The panel turned out to be identical to that of the 2-in-1 model in all respects, except for the reflectance level which is here even lower (18.5%) given that the panel is matt. The afterglow which was very high on the convertible model is also slightly lower on this Dell XPS 13: we measured it at 27 ms. This remains high, but has little impact in office automation.
To put it simply, the Dell XPS 13 2-in-1 screen was already almost perfect, the XPS 13’s screen is a bit better!
