Made without special effects, this image taken as part of the Tour de France 2021 will make the police officers smile with a sharp sense of humor.
The Tour de France 2021 is currently in full swing on the roads of the country. Started on June 28 in Brest, the event will last until July 18 with the traditional finish on the Champs-Elysées in Paris.
This Tour de France still has its processions of assistance vehicles, logistics and other colorful vehicles from the famous Tour de France caravan. Among these, a small truck decorated with a famous brand of chickens circulates in the procession in the middle of vehicles of other brands. But luck would have it that this truck ends up right in front of a national police vehicle. And there, immediately, the inscriptions “roll my hen” on the truck become tastier.
A little history
For the historical parenthesis, the nickname “chickens” sometimes given to police officers dates from 1871. That year, Jules Ferry installed the police officers of the French capital in the City of Paris, built on land previously occupied by a market with poultry. Note that in the picture, the police are driving in one of the new Peugeot 5008s.
