Mr. Governatori had left alone for the regional election in PACA, leaving the list led by EELV the day after a union with the Socialist Party and the French Communist Party. He said he was ready for an agreement with outgoing president Renaud Muselier (Les Républicains), even before the first round, after which he won 5.3% of the vote. Between the two rounds, he called to vote for Mr. Muselier against the National Rally led by Thierry Mariani, after the withdrawal from the left-wing and environmentalist list of Jean-Laurent Félizia.
Former entrepreneur in discount furniture, various right-wing candidate in multiple elections, Mr. Governatori detonates in the ecological galaxy.
He stood out in 2012 when, wishing to run for the presidential election, he went on hunger strike to protest against unequal access to the media. Since 1993, this environmentalist “Centrist” runs regularly, but without success, in local elections in the Nice region. His career is punctuated by multiple books published on behalf of authors, of various causes (fight against drugs or insecurity, defense of small traders or disabled people, protection of animals), many acronyms and movements (including the one called “La France d’en bas”).
