A TGV connecting Paris and Marseille suffered at least one projectile fire on one of its windows a few minutes from entering Saint-Charles station on Wednesday, around 9:30 p.m. No passenger is injured.

The captain noticed that a window was starred at the exit of the tunnel, as being the consequence of a projectile throw, he alerted the police who intervened a few minutes later at the station“, details the person in charge of the communication of the SNCF.

The facts took place at 9:30 p.m. this Wednesday evening, at the exit of the Saint-Louis tunnel just a few kilometers from the Saint-Charles station.

A window of the TGV which provided the Paris-Marseille link was hit by a projectile “whose nature we do not know for the moment“, explains SNCF.

The investigation was entrusted to the Departmental Security of Public Security. “The oar is at the disposal of the scientific police who will have to determine the number and the nature of the projectiles”, specifies the SNCF.

One thing is certain, the projectile came from outside.

“The passengers do not seem to have heard any particular noise”, recognizes it otherwise. All were able to take their correspondence and return home.
