The outgoing region presidents came out comforted by this election, the scores of the National Gathering were not at the rendezvous. Here are the partial results and provisional estimates, region by region:
>> The outgoing president of the Ile-de-France region Valérie Pécresse leads the ballot, with 36.2% of the vote, enjoying a comfortable lead over her competitors, according to our Ifop-Fiducial estimate. Jordan Bardella follows at 13.4%.
>> Big gap for the outgoing president of Hauts-de-France Xavier Bertrand who managed to take the lead with 42.1% of the vote, according to our Ifop-Fiducial estimate. he is well ahead of his main competitor RN Sébastien Chenu with 24.9% of the vote.
>> Very large victory in sight for Laurent Wauquiez who crushes the 1st round according to our Ifop-Fiducial estimate in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region with 44.9% of the vote, close to the absolute majority. Its competitors are more than thirty points behind.
>> Uncertainty still alive in Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur with an RN candidate given slightly in the lead at 34.8% of the votes against 33.7% for outgoing president Renaud Muselier, according to our Ifop-Fiducial estimate.
>> In Center-Val de Loire the outgoing socialist president, François Bonneau, took the lead with 24.7% of the vote. He has a small lead over the top of the RN list, Aleksandar Nikolic (22.5%), according to partial results.
>> The outgoing PS president of Bourgogne-Franche-Comté totals 26.5% of the vote and comes first ahead of RN Julien Odoul (23.1%), according to final results.
>> The outgoing LR president of Pays de la Loire, Christelle Morancais, came largely in the lead in the first round on Sunday with 35.5% of the vote, according to partial results.
>> Carole Delga, the outgoing president of the Occitanie region, leads on the evening of the first round with 39.6% of the vote, according to partial results. She is ahead of the candidate of the National Rally, Jean-Paul Garraud (23.5%).
>> Alain Rousset, outgoing president and head of the PS list in New Aquitaine, leads the evening of the first round with 28.7% of the vote, according to the partial results. He is ahead of RN candidate Edwige Diaz (18.4%).
>> The outgoing LR president of the Grand Est region, Jean Rottner, came out far ahead on the evening of the first round with 31.4% of the vote, according to partial results.
>> The outgoing president of the Normandy region, Hervé Morin (Les Centristes), leads the first round of the ballot with 36.9% of the vote according to partial results. He is ahead of the top of the list RN Nicolas Bay (19.8%).
>> In Brittany, outgoing socialist president Loïg Chesnais-Girard managed to win first with 20.9% of the vote, according to partial results. LR candidate Isabelle Le Callennec is in second place with 16.5%.
>> The outgoing president of the Executive Council of Corsica, Gilles Simeoni, pulled his pin out of the game with 29.1% of the vote according to final results. The nationalist is ahead of Laurent Marcangeli, supported by LR (24.8%).
