The agreement was signed by Said Oulbacha, dean of the Faculty of Medicine of the Mohammed VI University of Health Sciences and president of EPAC, the director of the University’s Medical Simulation Center (International medical simulation center). ), Mohamed Chahbouni, and Mohamed Laaroussi, president of the Moroccan Society of Cardiovascular Surgery.

The agreement stipulates the participation of the signatory parties in scientific research and basic and continuing training in cardiovascular surgery, as well as the exchange of information and participation in various conferences at national and international levels.

It also plans to mutually benefit from the experiences of EPAC and other specialized associations, and the programming of a training workshop next July for the benefit of trainers.

This agreement will allow the training mainly of doctors specializing in cardiovascular surgery, both by simulation and through the use of experimental surgery.

The agreement is part of a series of agreements concluded by EPAC with several surgical companies.

On the sidelines of the signing ceremony, a tribute was paid to Pr. Wajih El Maazouzi for his exploits in the service of Moroccan medicine, particularly in the cardiovascular specialty.
