On the eve of facing Croatia for a final friendly match before flying to the Euro, the Devils were almost complete in training this Saturday. Only Kevin De Bruyne and Dedryck Boyatwas missing. If the absence of the first was expected following his facial injury and after the announcement at a press conference by Roberto Martinez of his orbit operation performed this morning, that of the second is more surprising. The defender received a blow and will be resting for the next few days, so he will miss the game against Croatia.

Eden Hazard and Axel witsel were very present in training. The Real Madrid player, all smiles, participated in part in the collective training and performed another part individually.

Eden Hazard did not play Thursday against Greece (1-1) and should benefit from “15 to 20 minutes“against the Croats on Sunday night, the Spaniard told VTM television. The Devils captain, coming out of a complicated season at Real Madrid, is recovering from a thigh injury.

Axel Witsel, seriously injured in the Achilles tendon in early January, is racing against the clock to come back. If Martinez has already announced that the decision concerning his midfielder will not be taken until June 11, the day before Belgium’s entry into the competition for the Euro against Russia, the 32-year-old Liege, 110 caps, was present on the lawn of the national football center on Saturday in Tubize.
