A man was killed in an underground car park in Saint-Gratien in the Val-d’Oise
A 33-year-old man was coldly shot dead Friday evening in an underground parking lot in Saint-Gratien (Val-d’Oise) by a hooded killer who fled, police sources and the Pontoise prosecutor’s office reported on Saturday.
Friday evening, around 10:30 p.m., a woman and a man drove into the underground car park of a private residence in Saint-Gratien, a town of 20,000 inhabitants. They parked and then the passenger got out of the vehicle.
The fleeing shooter
It was then that “a man arrived, hooded and armed, who shot several times at the victim and the vehicle,” said a police source.
The passenger tried to run away. But “he was caught by the shooter, who shot him several times,” continued this source, specifying that the killer was equipped with a “large caliber long gun”.
The woman who was driving the car, who introduced herself as his companion, was not injured and alerted the emergency services. The victim had been sentenced for acts of theft in an organized gang, said the Pontoise prosecutor’s office. The judicial police are in charge of the investigation.
