Coronavirus Paris – Ile de France: how many vaccinated in the region?

In Île-de-France, the coronavirus epidemic is experiencing the tremors of a third wave while the vaccination campaign continues. How many French people have been vaccinated to date in the Paris region? We take stock this Tuesday, June 1, 2021.

Since the start of the vaccination campaign in France, 25.800.383 first injections of vaccine and 12.163.633 second injections were performed (provisional data awaiting consolidation). Priority audiences eligible for vaccination are defined by the health authorities:

  • Elderly people residing in EHPAD or USLD (0.6 million people);
  • People aged 55 and over not residing in EHPAD or USLD and residents aged 55 and over accommodated in FTM – excluding professionals below (21.0 million people);
  • Health professionals and workers in health or medico-social establishments (2.5 million people);
  • Firefighters and home helpers in the service of disabled or elderly people (0.6 million people);
  • People aged 50 to 54 inclusive who present with comorbidities (1.0 million people);
  • Vulnerable people at very high risk of serious forms as mentioned by the orientation council of the vaccination strategy (0.8 million people);
  • Vulnerable disabled people cared for in nursing homes and specialized homes (<0.1 million people);
  • Pregnant women from the 2nd quarter (0.6 million people).
