Terry Dupin, the 29-year-old man who shook Le Lardin-Saint-Lazare in Dordogne, was evacuated to Bordeaux University Hospital in a condition deemed extremely serious, Monday, May 31, shortly after his arrest. Information confirmed the same day, especially in “South West”.
The madman was wounded in the throat during an exchange of fire with the police. “In contact with the GIGN soldiers, the man opened fire on them several times. There was a retaliatory fire which led to it being neutralized, ”explained General André Pétillot, commander of the New Aquitaine gendarmerie.
This Tuesday, June 1, no information has yet been communicated on the evolution of Terry Dupin’s state of health.
The man spent 36 hours on the run between Le Lardin-Saint-Lazare and Condat-sur-Vézère, heavily armed, before being overpowered. He had assaulted his ex-girlfriend and his current spouse on the night of May 29 to 30, before fleeing into the woods.
