It was Didier Reynders himself who explained yesterday what your future summer vacation would look like, if you decided to leave. The European Commissioner for Justice has unveiled what you will be allowed to do with the famous Covid certificate. What will be in it and, importantly, from when you will be able to smell the wind of rediscovered freedom (to travel).
So, when is the Covid certificate due?
All the countries of the European Union will propose it by July 1, THE deadline by which all have committed to making it available to their citizens. 21 countries, including Belgium, have carried out the tests. From this Tuesday, the European platform will be open.
What will be in this certificate? And, above all, what will it allow us?
Those who have had their full vaccine for 14 days, namely two doses for the most part, or one dose for Johnson & Johnson, will no longer have any tests or quarantines to comply with. And this, regardless of where you are leaving from or where you are going.
