Arrived in Tubize this Monday morning to begin their preparation for the Euro, the Devils also received in the evening a first dose of anti-Covid vaccine. “We still want to win this battle against the Covid-19. Get vaccinated”, we can read on the social networks of the Red Devils, in caption of photos of Courtois, Castagne or Alderweireld being vaccinated.
The Devils normally received the Pfizer vaccine, with the Johnson & Johnson vaccine now restricted to people over 41. The group will receive their second dose after the Euro. On the other hand, players who have enough antibodies have not received this vaccine. The idea is probably to guard against side effects that could weaken them slightly in view of the Euro.
