Of the 30 Devils expected – the 26 selected and four appointed substitutes -… 29 joined Tubize for the resumption of training for Euro 2020. The only thing missing was Kevin De Bruyne, injured in the face in the Champions League.
The Devils were practiced in small groups at different places in the national center of Tubize. As explained Roberto Martinez, all elements of the group will train with the aim of being ready for the first game of the tournament against Russia. Everyone will therefore follow an individual plan according to their current needs.

Only Axel Witsel is an exception to this rule. The goal set by the staff for the Dortmund median, affected by the Achilles tendon in early January, is the third game of the first phase.
The big absentee from this first day is obviously Kevin De Bruyne even if he had to benefit from a few days of rest after the final of the Champions League anyway. Roberto Martinez was rather reassuring about KDB. The maestro of City, victim of a fractured nose and left orbit, will not have to be operated.
