Bushido charged with arson in his home in Kleinmachnow – imprisonment threatens

The Potsdam public prosecutor has charged the rapper Bushido with community arson. A spokeswoman for the Potsdam public prosecutor’s office confirmed this on Thursday. There are two other suspects. The “Stern” had previously reported.

Anis Ferchichi, the musician’s real name, is said to have commissioned two accomplices in December 2013 to start a fire in the roof structure of his house in Kleinmachnow (Potsdam-Mittelmark). The magazine “Stern” reported on Thursday and cited the authority.

According to this, Ferchichi was able to circumvent the monument protection regulations when converting the historic villa and receive compensation from the insurance company. If the 43-year-old family man is convicted, he faces a prison sentence of up to ten years.

Ferchichi already has a criminal record. The court sentenced him to an eleven-month suspended prison sentence for faking a break-in in his ornamental fish shop in 2014 and receiving a high six-figure sum from the insurance company.
