According to the social authority, a total of 111,477 people in the Hanseatic city have tested positive for the corona virus since the beginning of the pandemic. According to estimates by the Robert Koch Institute (RKI), around 98,300 people in Hamburg can now be considered recovered.
Incidence value at a new high

53 corona patients in Hamburg’s intensive care units
According to the social welfare authority, 211 corona patients are treated in Hamburg’s hospitals – 6 more than last reported. According to the DIVI intensive care register, there are 53 corona patients in intensive care units in the Hanseatic city.
RKI: Hospitalization rate at 2.48
According to the RKI, the hospital numbers for Hamburg on Thursday result in a hospitalization rate of 2.48. According to the information, this is the lowest value of all federal states. The rate resulting from the number of hospitalized Covid-19 cases per 100,000 residents transmitted to the RKI within a seven-day period will be the basis for corona measures in the future. If a threshold value of 3 is exceeded, the federal states should introduce 2G access rules for events and restaurants, for example – if they have not already done so. If a value of 6 and 9 is exceeded, further measures should be prescribed. The basis for calculating the hospitalization rate is the number of new admissions to the hospitals per week and 100,000 inhabitants.
Six more deaths
According to the RKI, a total of 1,882 people have died in connection with Covid 19 in the Hanseatic city since the beginning of the pandemic. This means that six more deaths have been registered within one day.
