While the NBA will attack the conference finals, sixteen countries will compete in the pre-Olympic tournaments to win the last four remaining tickets for the Tokyo Olympics. Among them, there is Senegal who will be in Belgrade from June 29 to July 4, in a group where they will face Italy, Puerto Rico and Serbia, the host country.
The federation has unveiled the pre-selection, and there are three NBAers. Alongside the faithful Gorgui Dieng (Spurs), there is Tacko Fall, the backbone of the Celtics, and Georges Niang, the jazz winger. There are also some other names known to the general public such as the two players from Vitoria, the naturalized Henry Pierra and Youssoupha Fall, Maurice Ndour, who passed through the Knicks, or Ibrahima Fall Faye, winner of the Eurocup with Monaco.
