The golden October continues: In Germany, mostly sun and mild temperatures are expected. A few drops might fall only in the north.
In the federal states it remains mostly cheerful, in some parts of Germany temperatures even up to 18 degrees are expected. In the west the weather could be foggy and cloudy, but precipitation is not expected.
In Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland, local fog fields were still evident on Wednesday morning. In the afternoon, the clouds should then loosen up, as the German Weather Service (DWD) announced. Maximum values are between 14 and 18 degrees.
In northern Germany, too, it is initially very cloudy. The maximum values are between 15 degrees on the coast and up to 17 degrees in Hamburg. It should remain mostly dry, but isolated drops cannot be completely ruled out.
Lots of sun in the north
At night, temperatures in the west and southwest of Germany drop to 7 to 3 degrees, in Hesse even to 2 degrees. Occasional frost near the ground and dense fog fields can form. Temperatures on the coasts remain moderate at seven to eleven degrees.
On Thursday the foggy and cloudy weather in Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland could last into the afternoon, but it remains free of precipitation. Temperatures reach 12 to 17 degrees. In Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, on the other hand, there is friendlier weather with a lot of sun. Up to 16 degrees are expected.
