Around 1,500 employees will have the option of choosing the KlimaTicket as their job ticket
Vienna (OTS) – The Austria-wide KlimaTicket has been fully valid since October 26th – on all public transport throughout Austria. For many companies, the KlimaTicket is an attractive offer for their employees who like to travel flexibly. The KlimaTicket is a simple and climate-friendly solution for this.
“With the KlimaTicket, everyone in Austria can travel easily, cheaply and in a climate-friendly way. It’s an unbeatable offer and very attractive, especially for employees: be it on the way to work, to the office, on a business trip across Austria or on the way to customers, ”explains Federal Minister Leonore Gewessler. “I am very pleased that Deloitte Austria will be the first large company to offer its employees throughout Austria the KlimaTicket as a job ticket.”
Sustainability has long been a priority for Deloitte. The federal government’s new KlimaTicket now offers the ideal opportunity to help overcome the climate crisis by means of climate-neutral mobility.
“Austria as a business location will only be successful in the long term with sustainable strategies. The new KlimaTicket is an important component on the way to a CO2-neutral future, ”emphasizes Harald Breit, CEO of Deloitte Austria. “It is important to us to support this initiative. We will therefore offer all employees the KlimaTicket as a fringe benefit and pay the costs for it. In this way we can make an active contribution to more environmental protection. “
Until October 31, 2021 there is an introductory discount for the KlimaTicket, it will cost 949 euros instead of 1095 euros. There are discounts for senior citizens, young people under 26 and people with disabilities.
