INFO BFMTV – The body of the septuagenarian was discovered Wednesday evening.
A man suspected of having killed and beheaded a septuagenarian in Agde (Hérault) was arrested this Thursday evening a little before 9 p.m. in the vicinity of Agde, BFMTV learned.
This is a 51-year-old man who knew the victim, Béziers prosecutor Raphaël Balland said in a statement. He was placed in custody of the murder chief in view of the developments in the investigations suggesting elements of premeditation.
The body of the widowed schoolteacher was discovered in her home, her head close to the body. It was his son who sounded the alert, worrying about the victim’s lack of response to his phone calls, Béziers prosecutor Raphaël Balland said in a statement.
