Spahn warns: under red-green “decade of decline”
The deputy CDU party chairman and health minister Jens Spahn praised Armin Laschet’s appearance in the Bundestag. “Armin Laschet was combative, he worked out the differences,” said Spahn on WELT TV.
“Above all, he is the only one who makes it clear that before the distribution comes the profit, that we have to remain an economically strong Germany in order to be able to balance things out socially and ecologically and that was very, very important to me and I’m grateful for that, ”Spahn continued.
In order to catch up in the final spurt of the election campaign, the Union “must do the same as it did here today in this debate. The right mix of attack, working out the difference and charging content. We have now talked a lot about books and pictures in this election campaign and too little about the actual issues, and we will do that over the next few days and weeks, every day, every hour, every minute, just like in the debate. “
Spahn emphasized that with a Union-led government, Germany would get “golden twenties”, with red-green on the other hand “a decade of decline”, especially economically.
