Party before everyone else on the right, the ex-LR has failed to dissuade his competitors from embarking on the 2022 presidential race.

In the best scenario, Xavier Bertrand would have already changed his clothes at the beginning of September. Two years after first declaring himself “to prepare” in the presidential election, the president of Hauts-de-France would be, for the right, more than one option among others.
