This Thursday at 10 p.m., Sony will present its new PS5 PlayStation Showcase. A broadcast announced as ambitious, which will focus on the future of the console and the next exclusives.
The “next step of the PS5”, announcing in fact the end of the launch window, is still quite mysterious, but several titles are already expected. There is of course Horizon: Forbidden West, which will arrive. February 18, 2022, but players are also waiting for news from Gran Turismo 7 and God of War. It’s the latter that interests us here, since since the teaser announcing the return of Kratos released almost a year ago, we have had little news of the game, except that it will be cross-gen and the PS4-PS5 upgrade will cost $ 10.
At the moment, we do not know the program for Thursday evening, but Cory Barlog, director of Sony Santa Monica, seems to teaser the presence of the next God of War during the event. His first tweet of the week, posted at 6 a.m. this morning (9 p.m. in California), contains nothing other than a GIF of Kratos with the mention “Sigh”, an onomatopoeia evoking a sigh. The communication of these studios and their managers being rarely the result of chance or totally spontaneous, one can think that it is about a teasing giving us an appointment Thursday at 10 pm.
In any case, we will have the answer very quickly since it will only take three days to know if Kratos will be there or not. Finally, remember that the title is expected in 2022, having initially been planned for 2021.
