A source authorized by the Tunis 2 Court of First Instance revealed to the Tap that four members of Ennahdha, including a member of the Shoura Council, a member of the protocol team of the president of the movement, Rached Ghannouchi and his former bodyguard, were brought before the examining magistrate for ” attempt to commit acts of violence in front of Parliament following the announcement of the decisions of the President of the Republic ».

The source clarified that Ghannouchi’s former bodyguard and the member of the Shoura Council were questioned by the anti-criminal brigade, while the other two defendants were heard in court. The four accused are currently the subject of an investigation by the investigating judge at the Tunis Court of First Instance 2.

She also confided that the anti-criminal brigade had received complaints according to which the accused had contacted people from the El Nour district to obtain sticks and to commit violence in front of the Parliament buildings.
