Summer holidays: the shadow of the coronavirus
For people who are fully vaccinated, “all the countries of the European Union are accessible without restriction. All you have to do is provide a vaccination certificate via the famous QR Code on the phone or even a paper document”, he explains.
A geolocation form for Portugal, Spain and Greece
Be careful, however, if you travel to Portugal, Spain or Greece, whether by plane or by boat, you must also download a geolocation form. A document in which you state where you have resided during the last fifteen days and where you are going to spend your holidays.
A PCR test for the unvaccinated
The procedure is obviously less simple for non-vaccinated people who must present the form, but also a negative test of less than 48 hours or 72 hours, depending on your destination in Europe. To follow the evolution, it is more than recommended to consult the site updated daily by the government.

The French Secretary of State also regretted that the borders of the United States remain closed to travelers from the EU while American tourists are once again admitted to Europe.
While EU countries have decided to reopen their own borders to Americans, provided they are vaccinated against Covid-19 or test negative, travelers from the Schengen area, the UK and Ireland have not been able to enter the United States since March 2020.
