The Committee of the Lot de pétanque et jeu Provençal will be represented by three teams during the senior French triplet championship. This competition will take place on July 24 and 25, in the suburbs of Lorient, in Lanester.
In total, 255 teams will be in the running to try to succeed the surprising players from Haute-Saône, Kévin Prud’homme, Georges Feltin and Winter Claudy.
First of all, the Gourdonnais, champions of the Lot, Alain Kessler, Mickael Iragnes and Nicolas Cousserand will meet during the first act the Charente-Maritime formation of Logan De Agostini, Didier Père and Emmanuel Zerdoum. The Vosges team led by Philippe Martin and the Mayotans led by Ali Ibrahim complete the group.
The draw for this pool seems within the reach of the Bourians who will be coached by Alain Baronio.
Cahors Sport Pétanque licensees and Lot vice-champions Daniel Durand, Yann Itard and Eurico Monteiro inherited a very delicate draw.
The Cadurciens managed by Sandrine Baginski will play in the first part against the excellent players of Eure-et-Loir Sebti Amri, Christophe Petit and Hugo-Miguel Morgado.
For the second round, the Ginouillacois will be opposed either to Frédéric Locatelli from Doubs, or to the Girondins Moise Helfrick, Thierry Grandet and Didier Chagneau, former champions of France and the world.
Mercuès players, Christophe Vielcastel, Christophe Baussian and Jean-Luc Labruyère benefited from a more lenient group. Indeed, at the start of this championship the Cadurciens will be opposed to the vice-champions of Calvados Cédric Grau-Gilbert, Yohann Morgan and Emmanuel Hamelin. The Paris team of Paul Scialom and the Deux-Sévres of Philippe Olichet complete the hen.
Serge Bourgès will be in the chair to manage the Mercuessois. All our best wishes go out to these three Lotoise teams.
