A few weeks ago, pay-TV provider Sky promised its customers the exclusive TV premiere of “Dune”, also in UHD. In addition, the blockbuster is included in the streaming selection at Sky Ticket at no additional cost.

“Dune” tells the gripping story of the brilliant young hero Paul Atreides, for whom fate has predetermined a tragic hero role. A political intrigue lands the protagonist’s aristocratic family on the desert planet Arrakis – also known as Dune. This valuable raw material only exists in this world Spicethat could enable humanity to reach their full spiritual potential. The rare substance can only be found in the deepest desert, where gigantic sandworms roam their orbits and the native Fremen people, who are viewed as a threat by greedy prospectors, live.

While the Atreides family and their followers want to find their way into the hostile environment of the planet “Dune”, a catastrophe breaks out: a bitter war breaks out on the desert planet – and the young Paul has to overcome his fears in order to survive.
