On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of Roy Black’s death, a music video now shows excerpts from his last day of shooting from the series “A Castle on Lake Wörthersee”.
October 9th marks the anniversary of the death of Roy Black for the 30th time. The Carinthian “Lisa-Film”, the production company of its successful comedy hits “When my sweetheart hits the drum” or “Pediatrician Doctor Fröhlich” (both 1971), took this as an opportunity and published with it “MasterRobin and LadyPless – the noble hit duo” a very special music video.
Insane homage to the hit icon
In memory of the hit icon, the two not only cover his 1986 hit “Wahnsinn”, but also show excerpts from Roy Black’s last day of shooting from the series “Ein Schloss am Wörthersee” in the music video. Three days later after this shoot, the artist was dead.
The scenes show the actor and singer who was born as Gerhard Höllerich Beatrix Bilgeri in Verona (Italy) in the episode “A bald man seldom comes alone”. Bilgeri played the lover of Schlosshotel Velden director Lennie Berger (Black) in the series.
“The spirit of Roy Black was present”
“The video shoot in Villach, at the Burgarena Finkenstein and in Pörtschach was really a very special day. I know it sounds strange. But I had the feeling that the spirit of Roy Blacks was there and we got his approval for this project I was also in love with Roy Black when I saw him for the first time in the hit film ‘Kinderarzt Dr. Fröhlich’, “says singer and presenter LadyPless.
