The places of culture have been closed for a year already. It is on the basis of this observation that the collective L’Art s’Affiche took the initiative to exhibit in the city, works of artists of the territory. Playing on the diversity of techniques and universes in order to surprise the passing spectator, this exhibition on modest and inexpensive support aims to arouse in passers-by an emotion, an exchange, a memory, a questioning.
“Our project was initially to use the free expression panels in the city of Annecy to display works by local artists. The approach of the elections made us change course and we turned towards a display on closed and forgotten windows in the city center, bars and restaurants ”, declare Patricia Cazorla, Élizabeth Schneider and Élodie Tribut.
All three carried out this project with the support of numerous associations, artists and, of course, bars and restaurants which warmly welcomed them. It is therefore about thirty artists, painters, photographers, sculptors, designers, who are to be discovered until May 16 by exploring the city differently. Their works, taken out of their usual and protective environment, are thus highlighted in the urban space accessible to all, to meet a new audience. Be curious!
