Lhe region now has a rate of 33.6 active cases per 100,000 inhabitants compared to a rate of 35.1 active cases per 100,000 inhabitants for all of Quebec.

The total of active cases decreased by 29 compared to 165 cases yesterday. Among the 136 active cases, 105 are grouped in the Hull, Aylmer and Gatineau (-25) sectors, 7 in Papineau (-1), 17 in the Pontiac (-2), six in the Collines-de-l ‘territory. Outaouais (-1), and none in the Vallée-de-la-Gatineau (stable).

The average increase for the last seven regional assessments is 12 new cases per day.

Since the start of the pandemic, 12,255 cases have been detected in the Outaouais, which is equivalent to one in 33 people. No new deaths caused by COVID-19 have been reported since the report on May 26 in the Outaouais, where the virus has claimed 214 lives so far. This is therefore the tenth consecutive assessment without a new death caused by the virus.
