A potential vector of exotic diseases, the tiger mosquito – native to Southeast Asia – began to spread in the Lake Geneva region a few years ago after settling in southern Europe. On both sides of the border, devices have been put in place to curb its progress. On Tuesday, the offensive took on the dimension of cross-border collaboration (Vaud, Valais, Geneva and the departments of Ain and Haute-Savoie), focusing on control and prevention, in particular through the dissemination of a video didactic intended for all audiences. Indispensable because everyone has a role to play in slowing down its expansion.
