Germany sends 1.2 million doses of Pfizer / BioNTech to Uzbekistan – AZERTAC

Germany has sent 1.2 million doses of Pfizer / BioNTech vaccine to Uzbekistan as humanitarian aid.

According to the Uzbek Ministry of Health, so far 16.8 million doses of the vaccine have been administered in the country. Thus, 9.9 million people received the first dose of the vaccine, 5.1 million the second and another 1.7 million the third dose.

Currently, ZF-UZ-VAC2001, AstraZeneca, Sputnik V and Moderna vaccines are used in the vaccination campaign in Uzbekistan.
