New measures in 37 municipalities of Dordogne to fight against the risk of avian flu

All poultry must be sheltered in 37 municipalities in Dordogne. This is part of the measures decided by the Ministry of Agriculture in the face of the risk of bird flu which has gone up a notch. It went from negligible to moderate following the discovery of around twenty outbreaks of avian influenza in Europe on September 9, including one in France.

Certain municipalities are particularly concerned because they are places of passage for migratory birds. Here is the list of the 37 municipalities of Dordogne:
– Badefols d’Ans
– Baneuil
– Bergerac
– Cales
– Cause-de-Clérans
– Cours-de-Pile
– Couze-et-Saint-Front
– Creysse
– Gardonne
– Ginestet
– Strength
– Lalinde
– Lamonzie-Saint-Martin
– Lamothe-Montravel
– Lanquais
– Moons
– Mauzac-et-Grand-Castaing
– Mouleydier
– Pezuls
– Pontours
– Port-Sainte-Foy-et-Ponchapt
– Pressignac-Vicq
– Prigonrieux
– Saint-Agne
– Saint-Antoine-de-Breuilh
– Saint-Capraise-de-Lalinde
– Sainte-Foy-de-Longas
– Saint-Georges-Blancaneix
– Saint-Germain-et-Mons
– Saint-Laurent-des-Vignes
– Saint-Pierre-d’Euraud
– St. Saviour
– Saint-Seurin-de-Prats

Following the transition to a “moderate” level of risk, several measures are applied such as:
