A resident of Denver (Colorado, United States) who agreed to be vaccinated was drawn and won a million dollars. In Sacramento, California, the state governor himself hosted a lottery where the winner took home $ 50,000. In West Virginia, vaccinated participants can earn in addition to cash, pick-ups, lifetime fishing or hunting licenses, shotguns, and trips to state parks.
The governors of several states have also offered scholarships for students to convince young people in this country where studies cost a fortune. These incentives are working: they would have increased the vaccination rate by 45% in Ohayo. More than 16 million people have received at least one dose of the vaccine in the country. The country had reached a plateau in the number of vaccinations and was thus able to restart the trend.
