From Monday, October 18, the mask will no longer be compulsory for schoolchildren in 12 new departments. In Lozère, on the other hand, students from CP to CM2 will have to wear it again.
From Monday, October 18, the mask will no longer be mandatory for twelve new departments. These territories are in addition to the 68 others already concerned since the start of the week. The lifting of these restrictions is pronounced when the virus remains below the threshold of the incidence rate of 50 daily cases per day per 100,000 inhabitants.
Despite the lifting of the obligation to wear a mask for schoolchildren, teachers will still have to wear it. All those working with students, such as AESH, national education staff, must also wear it, according to level 1 of the school health protocol.
The department of Lozère, on the other hand, will see the pupils of its primary schools put back the mask. Indeed, after the relaxation of measures, the incidence rate has exceeded 100 for four days.
