47 of the 124 new infections from Tuesday were assigned to 25 families, it said. Since the disease first appeared in Dortmund, a total of 32,541 positive tests have been received. 30,813 people are considered to have recovered. 1325 people in Dortmund are currently infected with the virus. There are currently 1696 people in quarantine.

The delta variant has been proven in other cases: So far, 1958 cases have been identified, 59 more than on Monday. There were no changes in the other variants Alpha (5855), Beta (9) and Gamma (5).
