Oslo (dpa / tmn) – Hurtigruten cruises can now be rebooked up to one month before departure at no additional cost. The flexible option applies to all bookings between July 1st – and thus retrospectively – and December 31st, 2021 as well as for all trips with a departure date up to June 30th, 2022. Those who do not want to decide on a new trip when changing their booking , according to the shipping company, can initially cancel and receive a voucher. This can be used for trips in 2021 and 2022.
If the trip is not possible due to Corona, you can rebook free of charge to another travel date up to the end of 2022 from one month (31 days) up to 24 hours before the start of the journey. Or you get a voucher. According to Hurtigruten, the corona reasons include a positive Covid-19 test result, quarantine requirements when entering the country of the port of embarkation or an entry stop for the destination country.
If Hurtigruten has to cancel a trip on its own initiative, vacationers are entitled to a refund of the travel price. But you can also rebook free of charge or receive credit for a future voyage, according to Hurtigruten.
The rebooking conditions apply to both the classic post ship voyages along the Norwegian coast and the expedition cruises.
