Posted on Twitter on Friday, the footage of barely 30 seconds shows a customer uttering racist insults towards an employee at the checkout of a Carrefour store. “Dirty negress, dirty black”, “There are only blacks to do that”, launches the customer in particular, leaving the store angry with a baby in a stroller. The scene takes place in the Carrefour Florissant store in Annemasse, in Haute-Savoie.

The supermarket giant expressed on Twitter on Saturday “its solidarity with (the) injured colleague”. “These racist remarks are unacceptable. We strongly condemn them and file a complaint. The teams work alongside our employee, ”adds the brand. Likewise,
