Consumer Reports has once again made its top 10 of today’s best cars. The Tesla Model 3, which was to appear there, is finally released this year. In question, the driving aids available as an option.
Each year, Consumer Reports establishes a top ranking of the best cars. We thus find in this one the ten best models of the market. The classification is made according to test criteria and owners’ opinions.
The ranking published this year has a significant absence: the Tesla Model 3 is not part of the top 10. However, the electric sedan from the firm of Elon Musk should have appeared in this ranking.
Indeed, it was on the list of ten, including the Toyota Corolla, Prius and Camry. The Lexus RX was also included in the ranking in hybrid models. The popular electric sedan was the only “zero emission” car there, before disappearing.
Its disappearance is due to the absence of driving aids considered today as essential in terms of safety. Consumer Reports Top 10 only selects vehicles with Collision Warning and Automatic Emergency Braking. However, these two features are part of the Autopilot pack.
